Sunday church outfit
Here is what I am currently wearing: a grey tunic that I paired with black tights. I bought this shirt from the thrift store yesterday for 9.00. It was the most expensive item I purchased, but it's totally worth it. The fabric is incredibly soft and super stretchy. Enjoy!!!

I hate maternity clothes...utterly!!!
Ok, so here is the deal. I absolutely hate maternity clothes. I have absolutely been to Destination Motherhood, Motherhood, and Pea-n-a-Pod. Some of the clothes are terrific, that is, if I want to pay top dollar. I can also wear clothes that are NOT my style, just to put on that stretchy fabric. No thank you!!! I have decided after much research that I will NOT be wearing maternity clothes (unless I absolutely have to as in the last month of pregnancy).
So, in an attempt to show the world that pregnancy doesn't equal matronly, I will be snapping pics of each of the ensembles I put together and modeling them for you. Leave me some feedback, let me know what you think. As of right now, I am 17 weeks and 0 days. I will be starting today.
Be back soon with vlog and my first set of pic (neither pants nor shirt will be maternity).....
FYI-Hubby and I agreed that you won't be seeing my face in any of the videos and photos. Can't be too careful! Thanks for understanding

Some ideas for safe keeping....
The crib I am thinking about.........
These cribs are actually apart of a set at JCPenney. They both are on sale for $899 for the crib, dresser, and changing table. I might just get one of them. We'll see.

I'm back!!!
Well, it has been quite a few months since I've posted here. In all that time, what have I been doing, you ask? Well..........
1. I've moved across country from NJ to CA
2. I've started a new job
3. I've been BAKING a baby!!!
I think I'm most excited about #3. Right now I am exactly 16 weeks, and I couldn't be more thrilled. We have slowly been buying baby clothes. We really wanted to wait until I was in the 2nd trimester. So what we have been doing is waiting for Kohl's to send us those $10 gift cards. Then we go to the baby clearance section and look for items. I think I posted in a previous post that we purchased 6 onesies for 2.00 with the first gift card. You know what, I think I'll start a running tally for all of us to follow.
Kohls $10 gift card 1
1. 3-pk onesies 0-3 months = 6.00
2. 3-pk onesies 3-6 months = 6.00
total 12.00 and change, used git card and paid about 2 and change.
Kohl's $10 gift card 2
1. 6 pack socks = 10.59
*my husband purchased this. I was not in the store otherwise we might have purchased more than socks :)
total 11 and change, used gift card and paid 1 and change
Kohl's $10 gift card 3
1. 3-pk onesies 0-3 months = 7.20
2. blue shorts 0-3 months = 2.10
3. 1 cotton sleeper jumper = 6.30
total 16. 62, used gift card and paid 6.62
We'll see what we can buy next time. Thanks Kohl's!!!
When I went to check out I saw that if you gave Kohl's your email then you'll get $5 off your next purchase. So, of course I did. I'll keep you all posted with any other deals.
